What was the identified solution? Good practices that have proven to be effective in the field of disaster/emergency management are:
– appointment of a Joint Committee for a particular field of cooperation, that meets at least once a year and whose main role is to define operational activities to be performed by lower, operational levels;
– regular meetings of experts on county level, in order to discuss possible joint problems and solutions to them;
– regular exchange of vital information;
– standardization of procedures and equipment on a regional level etc.
