Denmark participated in 4 Interreg IVA cross border programmes in the 2007-2013 period. One programmes covered cross border cooperation with Germany, two programmes covered cooperation with Sweden and Norway and one covered cooperation in the South Baltic. In Denmark the responsibility for the implementation of the Interreg IV. has been transferred to the Ministry of Economic and Business Affairs. A programme for the relevant regions and the regional municipality of Bornholm. Committees covering the broad cross border partnership are responsible for the selection of projects under the 4 programmes. The EU Funds for 4 programmes are co-financed by the applicants (Universities, municipalities, regions, NGOs) applying for EU-funds under the programmes. |
