Please, briefly describe the CBC activity you wanted to pursue	At the level of Polytechnic education (Beja and Portalegre) there are several joint cross border initiatives for scientific research projects developed in the ambit of INTERREG III A with the recent inclusion of POCTEP. There are several areas where possible collaborations can be identified, including: Teacher sharing; Joint PhD programs and research projects; Student exchange; Investment in entrepreneurship and innovation initiatives; Double degree or joint title in some fields; Lectures on renewable energy; Distance education for masters and professional courses; Mobility of students and the creation of the “student-border” concept; Improving the teaching of both languages; Investment in the Senior Education / Teaching for isolated communities; Creation of a task force with a direct access to EU funds; Establishing contacts and the exchange of information; Creation of a student border card.
