This CBC operation dealt with the harmonisation of criminal and family records between Belgium, Germany and Netherlands.
1. Les citoyens allemands qui transfèrent leur domicile en Belgique présentent toujours un certificat de bonne vie et mœurs (casier judiciaire) vierge, c'est-à-dire qu’il n’y a aucune infraction pénales ou condamnation figurant sur ce certificat. Pour la police, ce serait pourtant, dans certains cas, fort intéressant de connaître ces informations. Les Néerlandais ne disposent pas non plus d’un tel certificat.
2. Les femmes allemandes qui transfèrent leur domicile en Belgique sont enregistrées sous leur nom de jeune fille. Or, après un mariage ce nom n’est plus utilisé en Allemagne, ce qui peut prêter à confusion.
