| Please, briefly describe the CBC activity you wanted to pursue | On the basis of the Agreement on Inter-Regional Cooperation between the Voronezh Oblast of the Russian Federation and the Lugansk Oblast of the Ukraine in 2010, it was proposed to include conducting water rehabilitation measures in the catchment area of the Belaya River to the Action Plan for implementation of the Agreement for years 2011-2012.
The source of the river is in the Kantemirovsky municipal area of the Voronezh Oblast and flows through several territories of the Russian Federation and the Ukraine merging with the Aydar River – the left tributary of the Seversky Donets River. Additionally it was recommended to include the project “Interstate special-purpose programme “The Seversky Donets” to ensure the ecological rehabilitation of the Seversky Donets River. |
