What was the identified solution? | To bring people together in the border region, let them talk with their neighbors from across the border and their colleagues on this side of the border. Are there shared concerns, needs, etc? |
How was the solution identified? | After speaking with our colleagues in the ministries in Germany and Belgium we made a joint problem assessment. When people on both sides of the border share a problem, a solution can be found. A problem that concerns only the residents of one side of he border can’t be addressed under this assessment. |
Who was/were the main actor/s responsible for its identification? | No main actor, as this concerns because numerous people and organisations were involved. |
How was the solution implemented? By whom? | The ministries in the German states of North Rhine-Westphalia and Lower-Saxony and in the Netherlands organised a meeting between safety regions and kreise. This meeting will be held two times a year. |
How long did it take for the solution to be implemented? | More than a year. |
Did it have a positive impact on the overall level of CBC in the area? | Yes, we believe that it works. |
