Please, briefly describe the CBC activity you wanted to pursue Ongoing working meetings between the heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Kursk Region and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Ukraine in the Sumy Region with a view to developing measures for cooperation and coordination efforts, and joint operational preventive measures against organized international criminal groups operating in the Kursk and the Sumy regions.
On a permanent basis, there are procedures to understand the nature of criminal activity by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Ukraine in the Sumy Region. Law enforcement authorities of the Ukraine Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sumy Oblast are kept informed concerning felony crime in the border regions. This includes the exchange of information regarding serious high profile crimes committed at the border, such as the exchange of of fingerprint cards of persons representing the inter-regional interest.
In addition, an annual report on operational and investigative information regarding persons wanted for crimes, missing persons, stolen vehicles, and on the seizure and theft of weapons is prepared annually by the operational units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Kursk Region together with the information center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Kursk Region and forwarded to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Ukraine in the Sumy Region.
