What was the identified solution?

The Meuse-Rhine Euroregion was founded  as a working group in 1976 and is one of the oldest cross-border cooperation organizations. In 1991, this working group was converted into the form of a Stichting under Dutch law.

Who was/were the main actor/s responsible for its identification? The main participants are the European Union, the governments of the countries in this Euroregion (Germany, Belgium, Netherlands) in addition to the regional authorities of mentioned States.
How was the solution implemented? By whom? Through the framework of the Euroregio.
How long did it take for the solution to be implemented?
Did it have a positive impact on the overall level of CBC in the area? Yes because it created the legal framework for cross border cooperation between regional authorities of Germany, Netherlands and Belgium in the fields of:

-Economy and Innovation
-Labour market, education and training
-Culture and Tourism
-Health care
-Security
-Mobility and Infrastructure
-Sustainable Development
