Please, briefly describe the CBC activity you wanted to pursue Euroregional Associations, Cooperation between local/regional authorities.  Cooperation between euroregional associations belongs to the “engines” involved in cross-border cooperation projects. The association members seek to initiate joint projects in the fields of culture, education, human resources, transport and tourism in addition to the protection of the natural, historical and cultural heritage of the border region. The primary aim of the cooperative association between bordering states is to create a unified, successful economic area, able to compete economically in the region and  improve living standards for its inhabitants. Good cooperation helps regional structures in:

  •     Improvement of communication connections in specific border regions (e.g. bridges, roads, biking trails and its infrastructure);
  • Joint promotion of specific regions for tourism and recreation (presentations at exhibitions and fairs, info-centres, informational brochures and other publicity materials, internet sites);
  • Amendment of legal norms and conditions supporting the entrepreneurial sphere;
  • Facilitating trade and economic access of companies in border countires;
  • Joint projects for protection and of the environment;
