Please, briefly describe the CBC activity you wanted to pursue Since Slovenia’s entry into the EU, the Employment Service of Slovenia has participated in the European Employment Services Network (EURES). The primary purpose of EURES is the transmission and exchange of information on vacancies,  job seekers,  and on living and working conditions in individual Member States. The Employment Service implements specific activities in providing information and advice. These activities are mainly based on:

  • Information on job vacancies, information about the labour market, working and living conditions, and employment counselling for Slovenian nationals who are interested in employment in the other EU Member States or to EU citizens who want to work in Slovenia;
  • Information and advice to Slovenian employers who seek workers from the other EU Member States and information and advice to employers from the other EU Member States who wish to employ Slovenian nationals.

Information for posted workers is provided by the competent institutions (Employment Service of Slovenia and Health Insurance Institute of Slovenia).
